Fairly Esoteric one this... iZotope Insight: Works in VP16 not VP17?

Insight is a great Plug for viewing Audio Levels at Track Record level in VegasPro. VP16 handles this beautifully, VP17 .... not so much, it crashes and falls over. Yes it’s a VST, and yes I’ve added it at Track Level.

Any thoughts or solutions? Works as expected in VP16, VP17 is a forlorn hope.
