Fast Moving Motion Mystery - Help

I have been trying to figure this out for 1 week with no luck.

Here is the problem. I have a Sony HDR-SR11 HD Camcorder. When I import the .m2ts files to my computer and edit or play them I get Motion Blurness when I turn the camera at a faster speed. It looks like artifacts then stops when the camera is not moving at high speeds. All I am doing is roaming the camera around a room.

When I play back the movie from the camcorder to the TV (Component) it is a perfect picture. So now I knwo it's not in
the original file.

I have tried the following:
No deinterlace
Blend
Interpolate
All the Field Orders

Rendered to:
wmv (different bit rates)
avi - Cineform

I have also tried to play them directly using:
Coreavc Codec (Same Result)
Nero Showtime (If I use the Deinterlacing BOB) It's better but
noweher near the Camcorder connected to the T.V.

I have also tried this on 2 computers. Here are my Computer Specs.

26" Samsung Monitor
Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT
Evga 780 Motherboard
4gb Memory
Intel Quad Core Q6600

I don't understand why Sony Couldn't develop the proper Codec or software when making their format. What I really want to do is play my files in Vista Media Center. Can somebody with experience in AVCHD files no what the project settings should be? I appreciate any help on this frustrating matter.

Thank you.

I would suggest it is because the Camera records interlaced video.

The output to your interlaced TV will show alternate fields at 50 or 60 hz (50hz Europe 60hz USA) so motion will look smoother.

You computer monitor is progressive so fast motion will look strange.

If you capture, edit and render with the correct interlace settings for your material the edit will still look strange on your computer monitor but will look just as smooth as the original footage on your TV.

If you are intending the edit to be viewed on computers you should de-interlace the material and work progressive.

Hope this helps.

When I play it back on Vista Media Center the output is Full HD Plasma or LCD. I still see the exact same thing for fast motion.

If I don't de-interlace it looks even worse.

I converted the m2ts file to wmv and it looks a little better but still has
the motion blur. I beleive the camocorder records and 17,000 bits. I think that would be compressed though. Any ideas on what I should set the bit rate to?

I have a perfect file that has the motion. I can upload it to a site for download. 110mb

Thanks

Use the Vegas presets, and do NOT fool around with deinterlacing or any of the interlace settings.

I have tried all the presets witn no luck. What profile, format would you use to display on Vista Media Center to a 1080p Plasma?
