Hi there, yea sometimes they will ask for a usb copy as well as DVD. So that would be mp4, but still 264 for most compatibility..

UPDATE 24/05/2023

Hahaha what do you know.... I had a boot problem with my HP desktop (still the same box as when I started this post) and removed the GFX card during troubleshooting...

AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW..!! after sorting the boot problem and fitting the GFX card back in the same slots, IT WORKS LIKE HELLFIRE compared to before. yeeeharrr now I know it was worth the splash out for the new card... even on MPG2 for the old DVD's it's processing at average of 39fps, slower of course during graphics/titles etc, but I'm looking at under one hour rendering for a one hour file now..

So glad I took it out, don't know what happened in the meantime, I didn't update any drivers or SW but something has changed and very happy I am.

So don't give up anyone who is a bit underwhelmed with their speed of render.. there is hope, just don't know what it was that sorted it out.

BTW I still need to keep "none" in the "GPU for video processing" box on the video tab of preferences or else the render will fail after a few mins, like before...

So cheers to you all..
