There were fast, for a while. Then after a few months people started having problems with those SSDs. A Google of "SSD & " Stuttering" will give you lots of info. The better SSDs and/or those with the newer controllers are much better. The older, stuttery ones are now relatively cheap.

They also have the P256 that uses the same technology.

I've been trying to get my hands on the S128 to build a HDD recorder for my EX1.

Corsair S128. Nice choice Bob. But I would keep an eye on the power demands, especially since low power standby is still a question mark.
