Faulty sound on MKV files

Hello, when I import an MKV file into Vegas 21, there is either no sound or the sound is faulty. The file plays fine on any player. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thanks RogerS, The same issue appears with ALL MKV files I have tried each having different characteristics

@Rony-Alfandary I suggest you use Shutter Encoder to convert those files before importing them into Vegas. MKV files are not a fully editable format for most NLE's.

Depending on what's in the MKV you may also be able to quickly remux them into mp4 or mov vs doing a re-encode. ShutterEncoder can do that as well.
