Please explain in more detail. I believe Vegas can do what you are wanting. If you insert a velocity envelope on the video clip then you can adjust the video playback from 300% all the way down to -100%, all without touching audio. If this is not what you are referring to then please explain to better detail. -Shon

Yeah, I think it's time to integrate "a few" more features of Sound Forge into VV..4!?
Product suggestion/feature request....been there done that.
VV is Vegas(for)Video. Great for audio.....one of the best......lovin' it, but bring back some fresh focus on Vegas Audio, by being able to do (almost)anything to sound in VV.....like we can do with the video, but without shutting down the SForge product line.........yet!

My impression of his question what that he WANTS it to affect the audio too - which now it does not.

From what I have seen, Vegas does not automatically change the speed of the audio with the video but it most definitly can be done in Vegas. Let's say you slow your video down to 50%, 1/2 speed. After you do that then right click on the audio track and in the method box choose how you wish to timestretch (ex. change length, preserve pitch) The in the audio track time box below that just change the length of your track to whatever (if you are slowing the video to 50% then you would double the audio track length. Whether or not there is an easier, more automatic way, I do not know. But it can be done in Vegas alone. -Shon

Vegas DOES automatically change the audio speed/length if you use the CTRL-drag method of stretching or shrinking. Vegas will NOT reverse audio or make any other audio modifications if using the Velocity Envelope.
