Feature Request: Save Markers as .m4v Chapters

I find myself converting a lot of older stuff, not just DVDs of my events, to AVC .mp4 / .m4v for playback with VLC on my notebook.
For those wondering why I don't just save DVD folders on my hard drive, converting to AVC gives me "nearly" the same video quality at about half the file size.

I would like the option to save the markers in Vegas as named chapter points (metadata) in .m4v files, rendered using MainConcept or Sony AVC encoders.

Currently I am using a utility to write the chapter metadata by hand after rendering .mp4 files in Vegas, and rename them to .m4v. I guess I could prepare everything in DVDA, and then convert to AVC .m4v with Handbrake, which would save the chapters, but having this automated in Vegas would save a lengthy step (either way) and would be a blessing both for me and the (younger) iPod generation.

(For the purists out there, I am referring to .m4v in the iTunes context, not in the mpeg-4 raw video stream context.)
