đź’ˇ(Feature Request) Speech to text in event, subclip or loop region.

Sorry for this separate post.

Still talking about Speech to text. We should be able to use the resource in just one cut, instead of the entire media. I, for example, edit videos in which the raw material can reach 1-2 hours in length, and in some parts of the video I will want subtitles and in others I will not, however the resource subtitles the ENTIRE MEDIA FILE, Most of the time I need to subtitle, for example, just a few seconds of the video.
There could be an option for the feature to be activated only in the event, subclip or even in a selected Loop Region.

I agree this would be an excellent improvement to the feature.

I am personally not familiar with the API used to access this service, so I am not sure about the feasibility of this right now, but I will pass this on. I believe that some discussion about this very thing has been had.

That is how I was using it before.

Where I had gaps in a transcript I just made a selection or cuts (can't recall which) and had speech to text fill it in.
