Good morning. since yesterday In Vegas pro 20, 13 and 14 when I render there is no longer this encoding progress window! But it is there in version 18, 19 and 21. Did you notice? I uninstalled then downloaded Vegas Pro20 and it's the same. There is still no window. Only at the bottom left the progress bar is active

I've seen reports of this but not any clear steps on how to get it to return. If it bothers you there's a free utility that has the same functionality here: https://www.semw-software.com/en/extensions/

Thanks, I don't mind. On the other hand it is very practical when the window is presented.

The SEMW render window works fine and even lets you pause renders so I recommend it.
If I see someone figure out how to restore the window I'll post back here.

I tried Vegas pro 13 on another laptop and the rendering progress window is not there either! Question: Has Vegas changed or is changing versions prior to 21?

But yesterday when I tried version 18 on the desktop PC I had the rendering window but it was partially in English, notably in the title: "Step 1 of 2: Rendering: %"

No. To have done so, Vegas would have had to have released new builds of all of those earlier VP versions (which they haven't) and you would have had to have downloaded and installed those new builds. Further, Vegas Pro 13 was released by Sony a couple of years before MAGIX acquired the Vegas line of products.

By the way, the following is all you get re rendering information in Vegas Pro 13:

The render display window that you have uploaded was introduced many versions later - probably VP18 as you've mentioned where it works.

For Vegas Pro 20, perhaps do a reset as per https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/ to see if that fixes the problem in VP20.
