How well would a system with Win2k installed on a 7200 RPM
drive (my drive D) using NTSF work if all video activity
took place on that drive.

I currently have two external firewire drives, but ran into
a problem trying to install Win2k to them (would have set
one of them up as NTSF). Those drives are 80 gig each. My
D drive is 35 GIG, which, by the time I load Win2k, capture
source footage, assemble a long project from those captured
avi's, then render yet again to avi a project that would
exceed FAT32's 4gig limit, my NTSF 35 gig will probably
have filled up, hence, defeating the purposes of going NTSF
in the first place.

Of course, you would be correct in advising that, if I
converted my entire machine to NTSF, I wouldn't have a
problem. However, I still use my computer to run FAT32
programs that won't run under Win2k, so, I cannot, at this
time, devote my entire machine to my video "hobby".

Any suggestions appreciated.
