File management

I just finished a project with LOTS of small clips. They're all in a single folder called DATA BASE, but within that, they're in many sub-folders, sub-sub-folders and so on.

Is there a good way to segregate all the files I didn't use from the files I did use within these folders? It looks like I have a whole lot of niggling around to do unless someone knows a better technique.

Simple...
File save as, then click the include media check-box.
I think thats what its called I don't have VV in fromt of me!

This will save all the media to a location you allocate.

Good Luck

Do you want to see WITHIN each folder what you have and haven't used? I don't know of any way to do that. It seems like you need a way to either sort the files out into two folders (within each folder that already exists) such as used and unused, or be able to "tag" the files that already appear on the timeline.
