Yes, I can repro your problem on my system (build 521 on Windows 7, no GPU).

Yes, I can reproduce a problem. You did not say what you see but they certainly do not behave normally. GTX 460 with GPU enabled.

Edit: System details
Windows 7 64bit.
Vegas Build 521.
Video driver 290.53

Appears to work here:
nVidia driver 285.62

Not sure what you are/are not seeing. Perhaps a screen-grab???

Completely white screen in 32bit floating point mode
WillemT wrote on 2/17/2012, 2:26 PM
Correct. Plus very gray text and rose in the Glow project when changed to 8 bit?

Tom Pauncz wrote on 2/17/2012, 2:26 PM
Do not get white screen.

Applying the FX and the pressing the Bypass FX button on top of the preview window shows that the FX was successfully applied in both 8- and 32-bit modes.

Tried both Fill Light and Glow and no issues.

IOW - cannot reproduce here.

I got a white screen in 32-bit mode. Not sure what should happen in the glow FX veg file.

Why are you using 32-bit pixel format when the original video is 8-bit?

This looks exactly same here on my system.

Went back to the tests after seeing your pictures.
Still cannot duplicate problem you are seeing.

This is along the same lines as Zcheema and I registered last week.

Do me a favour and place an Event directly UNDER the Flower?

Tom Pauncz wrote on 2/19/2012, 12:18 PM
The only time I see any difference is when I change to 32-bit floating point (full range).

Putting Event under flower makes no difference if I just change properties to 8-bit.

What do you see with an Event under the flower??
