Film Effects filter unchangeable.......

Hi all I can't get the Film effects to Change the particle types. If you select anything but Dust it doesn’t change on the preview and if you close the effects properties it always changes back to Dust when you reopen the effects properties window. This happens on two completely different computers. Does anybody else have this problem. I have recently updated to 4b to see if this would help (haven’t tried the c version) but it still does it. any ideas?

I have VV3.0c so I don't know if things have changed but as I recall the Dust is always displayed in the selection box when it is collapsed. That box is not selecting which particle is used over the others, it is there to select which particle to adjust. If you want the dust to be completely disabled then slide the slider all the way to the laft (0) and uncheck the "embed" box. For some reason, even when you adjust the slider to 0 the dust still shows up if that box is checked. You then adjust the others to your liking and close the fx box. Remember though, when you reopen it, it will still show Dust in that box but that doesn't matter because you will have disabled it. Hope that made sense. -Shon
