Film Effects not working in V6

Has anyone else had this problem. The film effects filter does not work in V6.

The sample is a sony preset. and I get no motion in the fx.
I have un-installed v6 and re-installed and no luck. I sent sony support an inquiry last week and still no response.

If there is somthing obvious i am missing please let me know.

It's a bug that hopefully will be fixed in the next revision, along with a couple more fx bugs. In the meantime I render an avi file out of v6, bring it back into v4 and then apply film effects there.

When I'm needing it, I can use V5 or V4 or VV3 or even VideoFactory!

V6 hangs everytime for me when rendering to NTSC MPEG2. Until a new patch is released, I cannot use it. I have continued to use V5. So far, DVD3 has worked okay.
