Film Look Script Version 2

A new version of the filmlook script is now available at:
http://www.jetdv.com/scripts/RC1_filmlook.exe

This version has much better error handling and adds a series of "looks". It has also been designed so that additional "looks" may be added in the future. It is also installed in a new location: c:\Program Files\JETDV\Filmlook so you may wish to uninstall the previous version so two versions of the script are not on your system.

This version of the script will never expire. However, a "nag" screen will appear for every TEN uses.

Special thanks to filmy for creating the looks and the setup program that installs those looks, script, and other goodies.

Craftech, that link has been gone for AGES. The link I just gave will allow you to install in Vegas 5 without the looks. If you need the Vegas 4 version WITH the looks, the last update was at:

I just installed your FilmLooks(Vegas5).exe on a Win2K machine with Vegas 5 and I get the same error as bwar (Vegas 4 or any previous filmlook script have never been installed previous to this).

I think I know what the problem is. This script was not updated to correct the MPEG reading problem in 5.0b. Try this: Open your project, go to File - Render As, pick the MPEG1 and MPEG2 render types, hit cancel, then run the script. Alternately, the fix was included with DVD Architect 2.0a.
