"Filter Packages" folder location?

DDingus wrote on 4/14/2021, 12:02 PM

Hi everyone,

I have been having some issues with my custom presets not showing up in Vegas Pro after installing them with Preset Manager 2.0.

I am trying to find the location of the Filter Packages (where custom presets are stored) folder on my pc. Do any of you happen to know where it is?
I'm using Vegas Pro 14 on Windows 10.

Thanks

Sorry I meant the actual folder on the computer itself, not in vegas.

I have not looked but some are in the User(name)/AppData (Roaming or Local) 'MAGIX' folder.
btw, AppData is a system folder and is normally hidden.

That folder is only has VEGAS Pro and VEGAS OFX Video Plug-In Pack (both empty) for me. Do you know the exact location?

I also use Vegas Pro 14. Here the filter packages are in C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Sony\FX Packages

If you have a data-disc separately e.g. D and transferred the system data folders (like Documentary, Music) to this disc, you will find a D:\Documents\OFX Presets location where your presets are saved.

Be aware it could be hidden.
