Filter sweeps, how?

I'm just wondering if there's any way of creating an
automated filter sweep on a track or group? There doesn't
seem to be any I know of. I know that VST plugins can be
automated in such a way. Unless it would be possible to
load a section of audio into Sound Forge, and put a sweep
on it there? Any ideas or suggestions would be much
appreciated.

I don't have an answer for you, but this would be a great
feature to have! Sonar from 12 tone systems can do this,
Premiere 6 can do it as well. But the feature only works
with the built in audio plugins, not every DirectX plugin.
I think all DirectX plugins will be capable of animated
settings eventually. I hope Vegas supports these features
soon if it doesn't already.

Automation for Direct X plug in parameters like you have
for video track filters would be awesome. That style of
automation is brilliant. Much better than envelopes
cluttering up one's screen space.
