Final Post/ Shout out/ Film Release

Hello all,
First I would like to say how grateful I am for you guys (and any girls). I am a complete novice-amature-no nothing- kid doing this stuff for the first time in my life. I would have never imagined I would be able to do what I have done.

It is all thanks to the advise I was able to get here on this forum (and the grace of God almighty!). You guys have been able to guide me all the way through the prosses. I know my posts are very elementry., thanks for putting up with me. 3 Months ago I didn't even own Vegas! I have like no equipment, just a tripod and camcorder.
Farss, John Cline, Spot, Blink 3 times, Jim H, John Meyer, xberk and so many others I sincerely thank you!

I know that my work is pretty shaby compared to what you all do but for me it is more that I thought I would be able to do. Like I said this is my first time and I am only twenty years old.

I am leaving the country on Monday morning and won't be able to post here as much maybe not at all (well, if I get really desperate I will find a way). I will be traveling though out South America with my family (me +7) for a very long time. We are going there to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the purpose of all my films.

I just finished them and put most of them here (minus three). They are each completely different and most are in Spanish and English. I would love for you guys to check them out and tell me what you think (quickly LOL).
Enjoy:

So this is my Goodbye post (I'll check it a few more times).

Take care all and best wishes,

Josh

Well, kiddo,
As a keenly interested observer, and rarely a responder to your posts ( I have learned some restraint over the years), I will make two observations, those being remarkably similar to those that as a business manager I gave in response to a church's mandatory review of a trade apprentice of mine more than 35 years ago.

1) You have talent, both as a producer and as a technician. Your work, having viewed your bilingual and visual achievements, distinguishes you as a step above the rest. Developing your technical skills in order to achieve your artistic objectives still needs some work.

2) My impression, which is strikingly similar to the apprentice to whom I gave his church a corporate review (when I worked for Technicolor, Inc. many moons ago), is nearly identical:
"Don't let your personal religious focus stand in the way of either your productivity or your art; both are too important to waste."

I know this sounds a bit overpractical; however, I paid a talented videographer last summer who has met both his personal and societal considerations, and who has done so quite successfully. I probably wouldn't hire anyone else for a 2-cam shoot, given the choice.

Just my 2c and my perspective. Hope you appreciate one or the other.

BEST WISHES!

"I am only twenty years old"

You're doing very well, keep at it, you can only get better.
Stay safe and above all else, enjoy yourself.
When all else fails, laugh.
Bob.

Sorry I don't have time to watch all your vids before you leave but I did watch the intros and again I'm impressed with your mastering of vegas in such a short time. I'll be sure to watch them all soon.

Have a good trip and keep your camera rolling.

Hey all I got to Cartegena,
Turns out they have internet cafes all over here, who knew?LOL. Man, this city is really poor and desperate. The culture shock is amazing no matter how many times youve been through it.

Anyways I also got a new video posted here at the cafe. I use the Cartoonr from New Blue for the whole thing. I know that most the shots the camera is moving way too much but still, some are pretty cool about the latin culture.
