Finalize DVD-RW

I've been given a video on a DVD-RW that I can't read with VMS because the DVD hasn't been "finalized". Is there an easy way that I can read the video, without having to get hold of a DVD camcorder ?

Do a search for a program called "CDRoller". I've had pretty good success getting nearly anything off of unfinalized or unclosed discs with it. You can use it in trial mode and it will tell you what it can recover before you pay money for it.
