Fire wire card opinions.

Hello- I'm getting ready to purchase a Mini DV movie camera ( Cannon ZR45 ) I own a Dell Dimension 4100 series computer ( 866 PIII, 128 Ram etc.. ) I am using Vegas video 2.0 for Audio multitrack recording. I have been told to purchase a ADS Pyro DV fire wire card for my set up. I'm new to the Video part of Vegas and would like to hear your advice. Thank you.

Just go to pricewatch.com, and buy the cheapest IEE1394 OHCI compliant card you can find-(look for a namebrand chipset, TexasInst, Lucent, etc.) Dont waste your money on a name brand card. Chances are, it was made by the same manufacturer who made the inexpensive card on pricewatch. Look under category I/O-controller cards for firewire.
