Hi im using xp and vegas 4.0. I got sound out, and even surround. The problem is that i can`t record audio. There is no audio input in vegas, not in single channel mode or multi channel mode. I get the option to select mLAN in recordmode on each track, but no sound in. I do however get audio in in nuendo, but i dont like noendo.

I can't reproduce this behavior.

Are you saying the Vegas lets you select the Firestation ASIO input, but that no signal is present?

Yes, I can select Mlan 1,2,3,4,5,6 and so on, as record input on each track.
But there is no signal in vegas either on the busses or on the track. I can playback previously recorded material. Right now I am using the WDM driver which only gives me 2 in and 2 out. But I would like to use the ASIO driver of course.

Are you really having the firestation going with asiodivers on the Mlan stream? What setup do you have? I just heard from the presonus that there can be some issues.

Presonus says:

"There should be any differences in using 44.1 and 48k. Could you please tell me what version of Vegas your customers are running; also what drivers they are attempting to use ASIO or WDM. We found Issues with Vegas with our ASIO drivers where playback works fine but no inputs for recording. We are currently working with sonic foundry on a solution. An update to Vegas will be out shortly that will fix the problem. Until then we’d suggest the use of WDM.

If you can help me with this issue I would be very thankful, I`d rather not switch to Nuendo.
