Anyone tried to capture video using a SIIG card and sending this out through the same card to a ADS Pyro Firewire case with a Maxtor 40GB ATA 100 7200rpm drive? Will this be fast enough? I am going to test it out but was wondering if anyone is doing this already--just to be clear I am talking about using the HDD as the capture drive not storage after the fact.
