First play subtitles

I have 3 subtitles tracks. How can I specify which one should play as the default? I can only find how to set them as the END action of something, but unfortunately my first play is the whole video itself.

Without setting them specifically, I'm getting NO subtitles, but I would like the English ones to display by default.

1. Click on File -> Properties.

2. In the Project Properties dialog that comes up, make sure you have selected the "Properties" main tab (which is the default), and the "Disc Properties" sub-tab (which is also the default).

You should see "Initial Subtitle Track." Make your selection there.

just an FYI about subtitles, if the DVD player is setup to NOT display subtitles by default, the user will (most likely) have to turn them on.

On a DVD I made the sub-titles aywals shows up, but i didn't want them too. I had a default one setup in DVDA & my player was setup to play the english ones by default. I changed that setting in my DVD player menu to off & now it doesn't show subtitles by default.
