Try Super(c). It's free and it works. (you can't ask for more than that) ;-)

Johnny.
Got the converter, but I have to buy it or I get a watermark.

Is this the one you got?

http://erightsoft.podzone.net/GetFile.php?SUPERsetup.exe

It says all over that it is free.

I think it is a bid hard to fint the link.

While I have not spent a lot of time comparing results, I have personally converted from WMV to FLV and have been pleased with the results.

I have to ask... why FLV? Flash player (since version 9) can play AVC (mp4).

It's true!

Make an h.264 video, connect to it it in Flash, and It'll play on any machine that has Flash 10+

Demo using this technicque at various bps rates can be viewed at http://www.hd-vo.com

Dan, As Ulf pointed out you got the wrong thing. It is unfortunate that the developer of Super(c) makes it intentionally so hard to find and riddles his pages with advertisements for other questionable software but I guess that's how he pays the bills. It is free, just use the link that Ulf gave you. It does not install any other codecs that I know of. It just uses the ones that you already have installed.

Be careful with Super(c) : I had sometimes problems with sound which was out ot synchro... (1 or 2 seconds !)
