flatten text

i'm trying to create the star wars scrolling effect, however i am not able to flatten the text as it scrolls up... the scrolling part is easy enough but how do i flatten? ive checked out the deform FX but i couldn't find it there... any suggestions...

ive seen *.veg files around... how do you use them..?? im new to vegas..

The .veg file is the file created when you save all of the things you have done when you edit in Vegas. It contains the names of the clips, their arrangement' FX applied, and their settings, and heaven only knows how much else. If you use the 3d LE effect in PlugInPac by Satish, those settings are also stored in the .veg (Vegas) file. You can see some of the various settings by looking, I believe, in EDIT/Details, or something like that. Not all of them are shown.
