I've making a video out of still photos and text. When I render to a best quality AVI, the resulting video has a slight shake to it, and there are some pretty ugly artifacts on the text (white text on a black background).
Can anyone recommend a combination of project properties and render settings to give me a clean final video? This will only be played back on a computer, never on a TV (though it may be burned to a DVD for computer playback).
I've set the project properties as so:
Template: custom 720x480
Field order: none (progressive scan)
Pixel aspect ratio: 0.9091
I've rendered as:
NTSC-DV
Field order: none (progressive scan)
Video format: NTSC-DV
Video rendering quality: Best
I've resized all of my photos to 720x534; the Reduce Interlace Flicker switch is on; and I've put a slight stroke on all of my text, as I read on the forum that this might help the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated -- I've tried lots of different combos of render and project settings, and am not finding anything very illuminating from those tests.
