Here is a link to a sample clip taken from the timeline that incorporates a still with an effect. It flickers pretty bad when viewed on a standard tv as well as a hi-def LCD TV. On screen I cannot see the flicker. The clip has the same still split in half and an effect applied to the first half of the still that makes it black and white with a newsprint effect. That is where I see the flicker- not on the second half that does not have this effect applied to it.

I read some threads about interlace flicker reduction, etc but it seems they are more geared for a project dealing solely with imported pictures. This picture is taken straight from the project as a captured frame. I have selected reduce interlace flicker. It is still set to square pixel. I change this to match the output but the flicker was still there. What makes this strange to me is it only shows itself on the first half of the still with the effect.
