flickering image!!

I use vegas to render dv material to mpg2 and then dvdarchitect to make dvd. the problem is that when i watch it on tv (pal) there is too much flicker especially during motion! i set vegas to "upper field first", maybe it has to do with that?? On my pc it looks absolutely fine . What is the problem??

Why did you do that?? DV video is LOWER field first. Don't change the field order.

I'm interested in a resolution to this as I will be rendering my video to PAL DVD. So Lower field first, anything else to be aware of?

P.S. SOMEONE ADVISED ME OF PUTTING "UPPER FIELD", BUT HE HAS A MATROX CARD, AS FAR AS I KNOW NOW MATROX VIDEO CARDS NEED REVERSED SETTINGS( UPPER INSTEAD OF LOWER) IS IT TRUE ? I MYSELF HAVE A GEFORCE 2 GTS.
