hey folks out there, i seem to have a serious case of the flickers, that i cant remove. i have tried, reduce interlace flicker, but it did not work. is there another way, or somthing else that i am missing?
thanxs.
I mentioned Gaussian Blur in your last post. Put 0.001 in the vertical direction only. if that doesn't fo it, go to the same in both directions. Go as high as 0.002 but no higher.
thanks again for the reply, but heres my problem. as far as i know, the way that i get to gausion blur is by cliking the fx buton in the timeline. now when i do this, i see the plug in screen, which i then click on gausion blur. thats when i encounter my problem. everytime i click on gausion, the screen that pops out, just fly's towards the botom of my screen and i cant seem to get it back to enter the settings.
how do i exactly do this? sorry again for bugging on this one.
thanxs!
i have just spent the last 1/2 hour trying to figure out how to get to the properties in the fx section, but to no avail. if anybody can help, so that i can set these setting for gausion blur, please let me know.
thaxs.
alright, i figured out how to do the gausion blur, seems i had to uninstall the program, and then reinstall. however, its still not working, even with gausion set at 0.002 any other tips?
thanxs.
Go to the video track at the bottom of your timeline. Right click on the track header and enable motion blur. Then, at the beginning of the video track right click on the motion blur envelope and set it to .2% (.002). In project properties, be sure default motion blur type is Gaussian. Now when you render you will apply gaussian blur to all motion. Note that you can selectively disable motion blur by clicking the Bypass Motion Blur button on individual video track headers. Normally, I only have flicker problems with photos where I am doing pan or zoom, and I usually only use motion blur on these tracks.
when you say video clip at the bottom of my timeline, do you mean, the preview screen?, because i have no vidio clip on the bottom of my time line, besides the video that is in my timeline, or the preview right under it.
thanks.
Maybe I missed it, but what is on the timeline that is causing the flicker? There are things that work for reducing flicker when panning still photos, for instance, but you might use something different if your flicker is from using slow frame-rate video from the web. You can get flicker from credit rolls. I can go on, but if you can describe a little more about what is on each track at the point that the video flickers, that would be useful.
ok guys, just noticed something, i tried rendering as mpeg-1, and the render went smooth (no problems). but then when i try to render as mpeg-2, thats when the problem comes in.
basically i just have a music video as mpeg-2. i keep getting horizontal lines across the screen, and when it flickers, it flickers little boxes, for a quick second over and over throughout the video, i'm assuming these boxes are pixels, only that i see them at about 1/2 inch big for about half a second, i see them as different colors, hard to make out though. now the video plays fine before rendering (its a real high quality video) but only after render, do i get this problem, and only rendering as mpg-2. if i render as mpg-1, everything goes perfect, besides the fact that the video will not look as good.
alright, guys i figured it out. basically i had to uncheck resample. after i unchecked it, i went back, rendered as usual at mpeg-2, and presto, no more flicker. however now i have horizontal lines across playback. how do i remove this?
yo guys on a different subject (i'm gonna try to figure this one out on my own) for adding a title to my project, do i do this before i render my project, meaning, do i render my vids to how i want them, then go back and insert the title, or do i insert the title before rendering my project?
thanxs.
