Flying In Video or Photos

Hi -

I am currently using Screenblast Movie Studio and would like to move up to Vegas+DVD. How many video tracks am I allowed for Vegas (for Screenblast there are only three I can use, including the text overlay area)?

Also, can I fly in multiple video/still segments onto one screen? By this I mean I would like to take a full screen version of a photo/video segment and zoom it down to a smaller location somewhere in the frame, such as the upper right corner, then do another to the lower left corner showing both, then a third to the lower right corner showing all three and finally another to the upper left corner show all four segments on the screen.

Thanks for your help.

Bruce

birdcat - You sitting down, "How many video tracks am I allowed for Vegas "

unlimited! Yup, as many as you and your PC can take!

. .and what you want to do, is a piece of cake for Vegas5! What you want top do is exactly why Vegas 5 is here!

Oh, there's a new release of Vegas I hear? 18 th April - yeah?

oooh are you gonna have fun!

Grazie

Vegas supports unlimted tracks. You can intermix as many video/audio tracks as you like. With track motion you can have multiple source files merged into a single frame. So yes, fly ins and all kinds of special effects.

Here is a simple example showing lots of what you are referring to....

Almost entirely done using Vegas - with a small segment done using Boris Graffiti (the show special text).
