Fonts JUST WONT CHANGE

Hello, I just bought vegas, and I am trying to add subtitles onto my video, but when I press the add text media button, or drag out text, I can change the color and things but I just cant change the font. Its just stuck on the default font and I need help

Nope it doesnt I tried using legacy text and that worked, but I like the other form of text better than legacy text style wise, I just cant change the font with non legacy text, or the text size and other things. thanks so much for helping though!

If you don't use legacy text which one do you trying to use.
The only other one besides Titlers I can see in VPro 19 is Titles & Text
