A colleague used an older GoPro to film from a horse, from the rider's perspective, but he didn't realise it only filmed at 12.5fps in 4K. Because of this the footage is not smooth, and I just wondered if there is any way of saving it? If I speed it up to 25fps it looks ridiculously fast.

Thanks - I don't have Twixtor, but after searching the web I found I could use After Effects and optical flow to interpolate frames, and I've managed to rescue it.
Glad you solved it. For anyone else with a similar problem, another option is HappyOtterScripts which also supports frame rate changes using optical flow techniques to interpolate frames.

Footage is regular old 25p and was most likely shot with a higher shutter speed on the day. I say most likely as I cant remember and when its bright even ND3 isnt enough when I want to keep an f2.0.
