yrah, i noticed the same thing. i also noticed that people keep posting the same question if they don't get it answered in what they deem is an "aproperiate time." I've also noticed that lots of the questions are ones that would be simply answered by using the help (the F1 key) in vegas.
Here another "trick" part of many Windows applications that never really caught on, and my experience, few people use/know about.
See that arrow with the question mark sitting on the tool bar at the extreme right? Click on it, it should change to a white arrow and black question mark that is now draggable. Drag it over any area of Vegas and click. In many areas you'll get a quick tip as a pop up.
Example move it over the preview window and click. Vegas says: "Video Preview Window Displays a project's video output at the current cursor position during editing and playback. "A VERY common question answered endlessly in this forum.
