Force menu if PLAY is pressed & Underlined AND highlighted button

Hello all,

I am about to finish my very first DVDA project, and I'm pretty pleased with the result. However, there are two issues remaining I'm unable to solve.

First, in case the playback has been stopped and the players menu is shown, I would like the PLAY button to restart at the DVD's menu. By default it starts the playback of the first title or resumes the one which became stopped. I tried adding a DVD start script which links to the main menu, but that doesn't work.

Second problem concerns button highlighting. I would like a button to highlight just like this:

That's what I tried in order to make it work:

Button Properties > Highlight > Style > Underline

Menu Page Properties > Background Media > Highlight mask: A 200x200 px image with a turquise color (RGB 0/255/255, no alpha)
Highlight mask mapping: Intensity

This way I had the highlighted rectangle become painted in the anti-alias color. I changed it to white, adjusted the transparency, and was done. It does work inside the DVDA preview 😀 but not once burned to disc 😧.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

This is a function of the DVD player, not DVDA. Most DVD players will remember the last played spot the first time you hit stop. The second time, the memory is cleared.
