Forced angle switching

kipphut wrote on 10/15/2005, 1:13 PM
Hey guys, if you can read below and let know if this is possible.

Thanks

OK I figured out how to create the angles for the remote control switching now I have this question.

How can I take those camera angles and force a switch every 30 seconds or so. So the composite will play and automatically switch angles. Please let me know if there is an easy way to do this.

Thanks

don't think you can.

However, this is what editing is for. You make the clip with the camera angle switches & put that encoded clip into DVDA.

Are you talking about a multiple-angle DVD? AFAIK, there would be anyway to program it to switch angles automatically (unless you can program your remote control).

The funny this is I can do taht from the remote. I just need it to switch automatically. I guess there is no way huh :(

just edit your video that way. that will do what you want to do. if you want to FORCE the angle to switch, what's the difference?

Because I need to have a demo run with the angles switching on there own. Figured there was an easy way to do that.

For a demo, you might consider splitting the screen into 3/4/however many angles you've got, and show them all for a given scene. You'll have to do this at the level of the render though, no way for the system to be instructed to cycle angles automatically that I'm aware of.

why do you need the angles to change? is there a reason it can't be edited?
