what format should I use to "make movie"?

AVI or MPEG?
DVD for Architect NTSC?

I usually render an AVI to AVI, knowing it's quicker than AVI to MPEG-2. When you prepare a DVD in DVDA it will convert it to MPEG.

That's what I do to. AVI to AVI in Vegas, and then let Architect encode to MPEG-2 since you can maximize the kbps there.
