I can't believe I'm the first to ask this but couldn't find a relevant post.
I have a short 'signature' sub-clip that includes a brief animation and then my logo and web URL - total length 12 seconds. Think of it as a 'video signature block' to put at either the start or end of my main videos. The sub-clip comprises three video tracks and two audio tracks, and - like all my projects - it is formatted as HDV 720-24p (1280x720, 23.976 fps) video, 48kHz 16 bit audio.
I would like to have this sub-clip available to drop into other video projects and assume that the best way to achieve this is to render the sub-clip into a single media asset that I can subsequently drop into projects.
I usually use Handbrake to render the output of completed projects in h.264 .mp4 for upload to YouTube etc.
My question is this: What is the best way to 'can' the sub-clip so that it's readily available for dropping into my projects with no loss of quality.
I'm using Movie Studio Platinum Suite 12 - not Pro.
Thanks for your help in advance - especially if you have actual experience of the best way to do this. :)
