Forum frustration - how about changing it?

Panic wrote on 9/4/2002, 9:56 AM
I am a steady user of several forums, and this one is by far the most informative. In this place people actually help you, instead of just flaming and trolling and spammin. And thank god for that! Thanks a lot to ALL of you for that!

But...the forum itself is horrible! The way postings are done, the way browsing is done...u name it. Compared to for instance phpBB2, this forum is hardly more than a mailinglist. And that is a shame, when the content on this forum is so great! I am a newbie both at video editing and at this forum, so some of you might think I am this rude, obnoxious person that only want to complain and criticise. That is not my intent though. All I want is to get all this great content into a better framework...

Sincerely
"Panic"

Hi Panic,

Are you browsing using the non-threaded view (changed via edit account)?

I find it more better...

Dear Panic,

Just a note from some long time users. There is nothing wrong with being a newbie (we are all new to something). As long as you continue to have the great attitude that you have, we will all learn things.

Newbie? Where do you think old foggies come from?

Old fogies are just moldy, rotting newbies with a crust on them.
