As others have suggested, you can copy/paste into a word processor. I use the WordPad that comes with Windows. Simply highlight the entire thread, Ctrl-c to copy the highlighted area, then run WordPad, and Edit> Paste Special and on the Paste Special dialog, choose Unformatted Text. That works very well when you are using the forum option to see the entire thread at the same time.
We're working on a redesign of the website right now and I've added a feature to print a printer-friendly version of the pages. If you've got a minute, check it out and let me know what you think.
One IMPORTANT Suggestion: BIGGER PRINT ON SCREEN, PLEASE! The font you are using is TINY! unless I change my resolution JUST to ready your forum. Double Plus UNGood to have to do that.
As for the fonts, you can adjust your font size once you're logged into the forums. Go to "Edit Account", then under "font size" choose a setting. At the largest size, it'll make the default font 14px, which should be plenty big.
Once you've made that setting change in the forums, you'll see bigger fonts on most of the sonicfoundry.com site. Once we've launched the new site (currently at beta.sonicfoundry.com), this setting change will adjust the font size on the entire site.
What little red icon. I have been on the beta site a dozen or more times, and have yet to see it. I always see a "failed to load" icon where another icon should have been, if that is what you mean. It always fails on my machine. Been wondering what it was.
I think I'm missing something...I see references in here to "edit account" to change this forum's settings, but I have no box to click in that regard at the top of my forums page, or for that matter, any page. I've combed thru Forums/Search/Login/Register/FAQ, and the missing box is not in any of these either. Has it gone AWOL?
Labatt50, were you ever able to figure this out? It sounds like you may have cookies disabled, or just were not logged into the forums when you were looking for the 'edit account' link. If you're having to enter your username and password everytime you post a message, that's further evidence of cookie problems.
