Frame Application

I'd like to make a slide show with Vegas 5 and I'd like my photos to be
enclosed in picture frames on transparent background. Since I'm not
artistically inclined, and can't design my own, do any of you know of an
application that has frames already designed?

Paint Shop Pro. Version 8 has scriptable effects that you can apply to a series of images; some of us have used this in conjunction with Vegas for artistic effect.

Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8.0 has a bunch of picture frames built in. Just create a new empty image, add a picture frame and export as a PNG with transparency and you’re all set.

Ulead's Photoimpact has a number of frames that are prebuilt, from ridiculously Victorian to modern pop looks, some can be animated and dropped into Vegas with transparency. Put them on a top track, put your slides beneath, and voila, you're done.
