Hi,

I have a frame that doesn't bellow to a clip at the end.
I often see it but I'm wondering if it's a bug ?

See for yourself : http://pages.videotron.com/gear/badframe.jpg

By the way, from the Forum settings, we seem to be able to add images and videos to a message but I don't see any way to do it with this little TextBox where I enter my Body and I can't even make a hyperlink ?

You mean "belong" I assume. I've noticed this annoyance when capturing HDV via Firewire into Vegas with the option to split into clips based on recorded scenes.

I've tried other programs for capture also and every one of them has some issue - ususally a garbage frame at the end.

All you can really do is trim the right edge of the clip. It's a a pain to do though, because you'll need to zoom in the clip so you can see the two or three individual frames you need to trim. You'll probable need to do this for all your other clips too. Wash, rinse, repeat.

No the problem seems to be only VISUAL because the frame isn't really there since when I zoom til FRAME per FRAME, the visible frame isn't really there so it's just a visual residue.

Sony SCS Vegas Pro HDV capture, especially using it with the scene detection activated - is flawed. Has been since version 7 at least! SCS has done nothing to correct it so far.

I am bitten by this problem continuosly and have given up the hope they will fix this. Seems that the are putting all the eggs in the AVCDH-basket. Pathethically I have to use some freeware sw to capture these clips to get my work done.

For me it is not only the last frame that is corrupted or belongs to the following clip - also the audio is missing for about 5..6 frames at every clip's end. This IS frustrating...

I sincerely hope SCS will fix this. If not - please skip the "Pro" word before Vegas.

And please fix the hang problem of 9.0c. And please fix the AVCDH video preview stuttering on the computer screen. The preview on my external monitor is perfect 25 fps (via Firewire output), the framerate shows 25fps on the computer screen, but still the preview window is jerky... And please fix the jpeg "visibility" problem combined with HD material.

We need the 9.0d - BADLY!!! Please get it out soon!!!

I went back to 8.0c and 9.0b to get my projects done. Crippled I continue and wait....
