I have captured video in DV format using VideoFactory 2.0 and it looks great. I then edited pieces out of the video and created an output video file also of DV format. When I viewed my edited file I noticed that it seemed like every other frame was missing, it was playing at the correct speed but motion has a very jerky look to it. What could possibly be causing that problem? (Below is my system information)
Earlier I had made a highly-edited video that I put to DVD then noticed on playback that certain portions had the exact same problem. VideoFactory 2.0 is a great editing tool, but I ALWAYS find some sort of surprise after I perform some time consuming task with it. As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason why video quality should suffer when going from VideoFactory captured DV to VideoFactory DV and I'm really getting tired of having to deal with these surprises. Damn it, I just want it to work!
Thanks
