Just thought it was interesting... I had not seen Vegas being bundled with a camcorder purchase before.

Yes. I got the mail also. Didn't take too long (only a few years) for Sony to notice that they are making a) Video cameras and b) NLE's and bundling these two can make sense to someone.

They are obviously learning somewhere. Slowly but still...

Thing is that I wasn't aware of the offer until I received the camera and B&H included a flyer directing me to sony.com/hdv
