freeze frame & copyright

okay... after some initial log in problems.. let me try again:

1. okay... this SHOULD be easy... The manual says "you can turn looping off and make the last frame of an event's media repeat. The clip I am using has two scenes. It seems to be freezing the last frame from the second scene on that clip. What I want is a freeze from the first scene....

2. how do I get the copyright symbol. (platform is a dell precision 340 using Windows XP..

any ideas?

thanks in advance

copyright symbol is the ALT key held down while using the number keypad (num lock on) and typing 0169. ©

Or you can just cut and paste the one above.

© is created by using ALT+0169 in the title dialog. FWIW, this has been discussed to death in the past 3 days.

Rather than use looping/non-looping, why not use the Velocity envelope set to 0 on the frame you want to freeze? Non-looping freeze can only work on the final frame in your video event. Velocity envelope can work on any frame.

I'm pretty it doesn't matter for the Alt key trick whether num lock is on or off.

You can also take a 'snapshot' of any frame, drop it in the timeline and stretch it as long as you'd like.
