Freezing all the time during multicamera editing

I decided to give a try to Vegas 16 and I'm disappointed again...

I have a project with 3 camera angles and before editing I converted every X AVC L files into MAGIX's Intermediete codec (1920x1080, 442, 25fps). I use a plus external monitor to see the different angles during editing. During editing Vegas keeps crashing and I have to close it via Task Manager. The sound keeps going but the video preview stops. Sometimes the external preview disappears by itself and I know that if I won't restart the program it's gonna freeze. This issue was there in Vegas since I use Vegas, since Vegas Pro 9, but this time Vegas 16 freezes even more often with multicamera editing.

I tried to disable GPU acceleration. Config: Ryzen 1700x, 16GB DDR4 memory, MSI 1080 Ti.

This problem happened on my old computer, too but less often with an i7-2600K, 8GB DDR3 memory and an AMD HD 7950 editing .mts files.

I went back to Vegas 14, I had no crash since then.

maybe you could try using less information heavy intermediates like 10mb/s proxies?

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 12x 3.7 GHz
32 GB DDR4-3200 MHz (2x16GB), Dual-Channel
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, 8GB GDDR6, HDMI, DP, studio drivers
ASUS PRIME B550M-K, AMD B550, AM4, mATX
7.1 (8-chanel) Surround-Sound, Digital Audio, onboard
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB, NVMe M.2 PCIe x4 SSD
be quiet! System Power 9 700W CM, 80+ Bronze, modular

Vegas 14 handles the original X AVC L files without any problems...
