frequent and strange crashes V22

hi all

working on a new project with 4k 10bit XAVCI Slog3 files from my sony FX3.
LUT filter at track level, only FX used are an occasional Boris magic sharpen at event level and NB colorfast 2.
Vegas occasionally makes both screens flicker, then crashes. It occasionally freezes, producing a strange 4 split mix of the respective image in multiple colors.
I also tried making a title with Boris extruded text FX, which lead to several times of Vegas just disappearing without any crash report.
I'm wondering if it's the new Nvidia 3070 driver I installed when I tried to solve monitor issues. I've never seen this type of crashes on my system before.
Can anybody recommend a specific Nvidia driver known to work best with vegas?

Thanks!

Hmm, I'm on the latest Studio driver on my desktop (2080 Super) and haven't noticed issues yet but also don't use Magic Shapen.

One question is if you have hang detection enabled in VEGAS- that can sometimes give crash reports that will offer a clue as to the cause of the problem. Hold shift, go to the options menu and at the bottom you'll see "internal." In there search for "hang" and change hang detection from FALSE to TRUE.

Beyond that Windows also logs unusual events. Type reliability into the bottom left search box and it may also give an idea as to what crashed. You could then share that with VEGAS and or NVIDIA support (depending on the issue, could even be Boris).
