From 24 mbps to 50 mbps!!

Hi all,
As still a little bit confusing for me I just wanted to ask the reality!
Scenario 1: XDCAM, 50 mbps, MXF
Scenario 2: Canon HG 10, 24 mbps, AVCHD,
with V9 I rendered it as MXF, 50 mbps
or with AVCHD upshipt as HDV, again 50 mbps

My question:
What will be the same and what will be different in these vidoes.
(1st and 2nd videos)

My aim is to use them when producing BD discs as 40 mpbs!!??

Thanks in advance!

Why not just render to the final BD format at 40 Mpbs?

I've actually never made a BD but it seems like there are two options:

1. Render As->Mainconcept MPEG2 then choose the blue-ray tmeplate that is closest to your framerate and format. Then customize it and input your bitrate.

You can also use the sonyAVC codec and customize a template to 40Mbps.

2. Have you tried making a disc from the timeline?
Tools->Burn Disc->Blu-Ray Disc

Wow, I find it!
Thanks a lot.

...and the loser is Canon HG 10 seller, since I already have HC3 & HC9E.

I love this forum:)
