We've been lent a Sony FS700 camera complete with 4K recorder. Imaging work has gone fine, but painless post-production workflow is currently eluding us.
Anyone had any experience with this?
Bizarrely Sony seem to have made a plug-in to make their Sony camera a work seamlessly with Adobe Premiere, but not with Sony Vegas. This seems odd! Work-around seems to be to import into Sony RAW Viewer and export back to Vegas. However having tried a few test I'm still not seeing gorgeous footage dropping into Vegas - looks OK on calibrated screens but exported clips less clever. Hand-up, no doubt this is user error - but there are a lot of options in terms of LUTs and export parameters, so a simple 'do-this' workflow from someone who's figured this out would really be appreciated.
BTW: Also tried dropping footage into DaVinci Resolve, which I expected to work, but software doesn't seem to see the .mxf files within the folders.
