Just picked up a use Dell M4600 i7 laptop. One of the few up-to-date(ish) laptops left with Firewire and an Expresscard slot !

Plenty on ebay, if anybody feels the need....

I was looking at one of those last summer. The price new from Dell was astronomical compared to their XPS series. Most specs were identical; a few were not. No firewire on the XPS and the graphics card was good but a lower spec as I recall. I think the XPS had a better display. I knew I was selling my HDV camera soon so firewire wasn't going to be a huge issue for me.

I paid a lot for the XPS new, and the Precision Mobile was about $800 more for nearly identical specifications. Good to know there are reputable vendors on eBay for such items.
