Suddenly found "FX Bypassed" indicator on the Video Preview window when bringing down the drop-down in the "Split Screen" button.
I looked at it because effects put in place were not showing up suddenly in the preview window.
After clearing it, he FX showed up for that particular event on the timeline.
Then, noticing FX on other events were also now showing, I went again to FX Bypassed and it is ON and clicking it has no effect.
I looked through the Options and Project Properties and don't find anything that seems like it would have an influence.
I opened a new blank project and it also has FX Bypassed indicator, clicking it has no effect.
Need to re-install Vegas? Or . . .?
Edit: I did a windows 7 update yesterday. These problems developed gradually over the day today.
Update: We rendered the project, some of the FX rendered correctly, some not--such things as red titles show up green on the preview and render, but title control window shows red. Also, Pan/Crop is resulting in incorrect proportions.
Thanks!
